Description
The workshop will feature a variety of activities, including:
Student performances: Students will have many opportunities to perform throughout the workshop.
Technique and practice classes: Each morning will begin with technique sessions and warm-ups to prepare for daily activities.
Ensemble rehearsal: Each morning, students will rehearse ensembles to develop a sense of community and music reading skills, preparing for the closing Gala concert.
Masterclass: Each student will participate in Masterclass sessions with An Tran and guest artists.
Lectures: An Tran and guests will give lectures related to the classical guitar field.
Through collaboration and sharing of learning experiences, students will build long-lasting friendships and support networks, fostering teamwork and mutual inspiration, enhancing the performance level of each student.

Eligibility and Application Process
ELIGIBILITY: All classical guitar players, regardless of age, are welcome. Students will need to prepare a performance program of at least 10 minutes to perform during the workshop.
SKILL LEVEL: All skill levels. Preference will be given to those with intermediate level or higher.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: 2 performance videos of contrasting pieces, submitted via YouTube links. We will begin accepting applications and 2 videos starting from April 1st, 2024.
DEADLINE: May 15th, 2024 (Late applications may be considered)
RESULTS: The admissions committee will evaluate based on the 2 videos submitted by each applicant. We will notify the results by email before May 30, 2024. The workshop will accept a maximum of 20 students.

Participation Fee: $150 (to be paid upon acceptance). The participation fee does not include accommodation and transportation expenses.
